Celtic Challenge Rules
The following League points shall be awarded based on the results of each Match to determine the Standings.
- The Team that wins the Match shall be awarded four Competition Points or (if it scores four tries or more in the process) five Competition Points.
- The Team that loses the Match shall be awarded no Competition Points or (if it scores four tries or more in the process or loses by a margin of seven points or less) one Competition Point or (if it scores four tries or more in the process and loses by a margin of seven points or less) two Competition Points.
- Teams that draw a Match shall each be awarded two Competition Points and any of them that scores four tries or more in the process shall also be awarded a further one Competition Point.
Following the completion of the regular season (10 Rounds), the top 4 seeded teams will progress into the play-offs for a change to be crowned Celtic Challenge Champions!
The winners of the semi-finals will then meet in the Celtic Challenge Final, where they will compete for the honour of becoming the Celtic Challenge Champions.
The two highest-ranked sides will host the semi-finals, with 1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd battling for a place in the inaugural final.
