Disciplinary Decision – Meabh Clenaghan (Three Weeks)

Meabh Clenaghan of the Wolfhounds, was issued a Red Card following their Round 10 Fixture vs Clovers on Saturday 7th March 2026.

The Red Card was issued for a breach of Law: 9.12 – A player must not physically or verbally abuse anyone. Physical abuse includes, but is not limited to, biting, punching, contact with the eye or eye area, striking with any part of the arm, shoulder, head or knee(s), stamping, trampling, tripping or kicking.

The player has accepted the Red Card and will now serve a three-week suspension following findings of an independent Discipline Committee.

The suspension applies to the following three matches:

15th March 2026: Ireland U21 v Canada

21st March 2026: Wolfhounds v Brython Thunder (Semi-Final)

Due to the natuer of knock-out rugby, the third match will be confirmed following the outcome of the Wolfhounds v Brython Thunder Semi-Final fixture.
