An early blitz saw the Clovers leading 17-0 by halftime. Despite a second-half response from Gwalia, the Irish side quickly regained control to notch their second victory of the campaign.

Defending champions, the Wolfhounds roared back to form with a commanding 48-7 win over Glasgow Warriors, in the second match at the Kingspan Stadium.

An eight-try display, led by Katie Corrigan’s hat-trick and player-of-the-match Eve Higgins, saw the Wolfhounds secure their bonus point inside 24 minutes. A strong second-half effort from Glasgow, including a try from captain Ailie Tucker, couldn’t stop the Wolfhounds from climbing the table.
